BIOKON
BIOKON Professional is a broad spectrum virucidal and bactericidal disinfectant cleaner, proven in independent tests to be effective against all viral families, 402 different strains of bacteria and 102 fungi. It is non-phenolic, non-aldehyde and at a 1 per cent in-use dilution is non-irritant to skin and eyes. It also leaves no taint and no residues in the environment .

Sachet and contents dissolve completely within 10 seconds when immersed in warm water.
One 10g sachet in one litre warm water makes a 1% solution.

BIOKON is a pink powder with a faint lemon odour and is readily soluble in tepid water and loses only 2.3% of its activity after 36 months. A 1% solution loses 10% of its initial activity after 7 days in 350 ppm hard water. BIOKON has a built in pink coluor potency indicator. Biodegradability
Biodegradable under OECD test conditions. Inorganic salts degrade into harmless by-products. Safety
BIOKON is classified as non-irritant to eyes and skin at 1% in-use dilution. There are no occupational exposure limits according to the requirements laid down in Health and Safety Guidance note EH 40/95 under COSHH Regulations 1994. When used on urine spills there are no chlorine fumes evolved. |
