Sulfa-Max
III Calf Bolus
Sustained release sulfamethazine bolus
for oral administration to ruminating replacement calves
1 mo of age or older for the treatment of bacterial pneumonia,
bacterial scours and calf diphtheria. Provides a therapeutic
sulfamethazine level in approx 6 hrs and for 72 hrs thereafter.
Dosage: 2 boluses per 100 lbs body wt, repeat in 72 hrs.
Repeat at each 72 hr interval as needed. Do not use in
female dairy cattle 20 mos of age or older. Do not use
in calves under 1 mo of age or calves being fed an all
milk diet. 12 day slaughter withdrawal.
