FALCONCIN
is an antibacterial premix containing feed grade Biopeptide,
lincomycin hydrochloride and spectinomycin sulfate.
,In chickens,
turkeys, swine, cattle, and sheep, FALCONCIN increases
rate of weight gain and improves feed efficiency. It
is also effective in the treatment, control and/or prevention
of certain diseases in certain species.
,In chickens, FALCONCIN controls respiratory infections
due to Mycoplasma
gallisepticum and Escherichia coli and reduces mortality
from enteric infections due to E. coli.
,In turkeys, it can be used to control enteric infections
due to Salmonella typhimurium and Hexamita meleagrides.
,In swine, Highly effective antibiotic combination provides
a wide spectrum of activity against gram-positive and
gram-negative pathogens, as well as Serpulina hyodysenteriae
and Mycoplasma spp. FALCONCIN is approved for the treatment
of bacterial enteritis caused by E. coli and Salmonella
choleraesuis and bacterial pneumonia due to Pasteurella
multocida.
,FALCONCIN is effective in cattle to provide control
and treatment of bacterial enteritis due to Escherichia
coli, control and treatment of bacterial pneumonia (Pasteurella
spp.), reduction of liver abscess, and control of active
infections of anaplasmosis caused by Anaplasma marginale.
,In sheep, FALCONCIN reduces the incidence of abortion
(vibrionic) caused by Campylobacter fetus.
,FALCONCIN has a withdrawal of 24 to 48 hours in cattle
and sheep depending upon the application of use.
FALCONCIN can be used alone or fed in combination
with other selected drugs.
